From deep in my archives and prior to my first digital SLR here are some highlights from my trip to the South of South America.
Whilst digging through the files my memories of South America’s vastness and scale came flooding back. We were trekking 20 kms a day through mind-blowing landscapes to see views that words cannot describe. I will have to let the photos to do the talking.
Monte Fitz Roy (Cerro Chaltén) in Argentina-Chile border – 3,359 m
Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina
Cerro Torre in Argentina – 3,128 m
Ushuaia the southern most city in the world, where the sun started to rise again just barely after the sun touched the horizon after setting.
