Venice is a maze of canals, navigating the curved waterways can be a daunting experience for the weary traveller.

That’s half the fun of Venice though, getting lost in her labyrinth of multiple pathways. Some paths might be a shortcut whilst others might double your journey.

Monochromatic coexistence: Contemporary reflects gothic

In Vienna the old faces off against the new, this is particularly obvious where the Gothic St. Stephen’s Cathedral faces off against the modern, glass-and-steel Haas Haus building. This monochromatic reflection demonstrates how old is incorporated by the new.
